AIRPORT - Introducing WIFI within the terminal building
of the Princess Juliana International Airport is part of our
commercial program geared to meeting and exceeding the
passengers' customer service expectation. We have sought for
a provider of WIFI services and are pleased to confirm that
we have effected a concession agreement with Telcell N.V. to
provide WIFI internet connectivity within the terminal
building. As of February 1, 2008 the implementation has
reached its testing phase.
During the test phase, which is scheduled to last
approximately two weeks, the stability of the system will be
tested. Passengers and visitors using certain devises such
as laptops and smart phones may notice the availability of
the WIFI services in the terminal building and connect to
the internet free of charge.
Once the test phase is completed and the system has
proved to be stable the WIFI internet connectivity services
will be provided fee based. Passengers making use of the
Soualiga Business Class Lounge will have free WIFI
connectivity as this service is included within the cover
charge.
PJIAE continues to work on being the regional leader in
providing safe, secure and quality airport services and the
introduction of WIFI internet connectivity within the
terminal building fits within this framework.
