Airport Departure Fee
Please be informed that an airport departure fee (ADF) is
due separately upon departure from Princess Juliana
International Airport. For international destinations an ADF
of USD 30.00 or Naf. 54.00 is due. For departures to
domestic destinations an ADF of USD 10.00 or Naf. 18.00 is
charged. Children under the age of two (2) are exempted of
payment. Domestic destinations are: Saba, Statia, Bonaire
and Curacao. You can find the ADF counters in the corridor
between the check-in area and the entrance to the departure
hall.
All scheduled carriers who operate into PJIA with the
exception of DAE and Insel Air, have the departure tax
included in their tickets.
These are: American Airlines, American Eagle, Continental
Airlines, Caribbean Airlines, Delta Airlines, United
Airlines, USAIR, Corsair, Air France, KLM, Spirit Airline,
JetBlue Airways, WinAir, Air Caraibes & St. Barths Commuter.
Passengers travelling on these airlines do not have to
separately pay the airport departure fee.
Check-in Time
We recommend taking into consideration a check-in time of
at least two (2) hours prior to departure for long haul
flights.
Customer Information Desk
Our customer information desk is manned with qualified
Customer Service Representatives. They assist callers and
airport visitors with questions and concerns regarding
airport services, flight information, ground transportation,
commuting challenges, airline support services. The customer
information desk is located in the corridor between the
check-in area and the entrance to the departure hall and can

Currencies
At the airport Antillean Guilders, Dollars and Euro’s are
accepted. Currencies are exchanged according to the rates as
posted by the Central Bank of the Netherlands Antilles.
Parking
The parking facility with approx. 220 parking positions
is located just in front of the terminal building. A fee of
US$ 1.00 per half hour applies. Parking is not allowed in
front of the check-in area.
